Nominated post holder for continuing Airworthiness

The candidacy of the Nominated post holder for continuing Airworthiness, if his/her qualifications meet the requirements for this position, shall be coordinated with the authorized organization in accordance with paragraph 18 of the Certification Requirements for Civil Aircraft Operators.

To obtain approval of the Nominated post holder for continuing Airworthiness, the applicant submits an application through the electronic document management system or via the Unified Platform, “E-otinish”: Unified Platform for Receiving and Processing Citizens’ Appeals

The service is provided free of charge.

Timeframe for consideration of the application chevron

The application review period is 15 (fifteen) working days in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 76 of the Administrative Procedural and Process-Related Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – the Code).

Note: In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 76 of the Code, the duration of an administrative procedure initiated on the basis of an application may be extended by a reasoned decision of the head of the administrative body or their deputy for a reasonable period, but for no more than two months. This extension is necessary to establish the factual circumstances relevant for the proper consideration of the administrative case, and the participant in the administrative procedure shall be notified within three working days from the date of the extension.

The application submission and approval process for the nominated person responsible for continuing airworthiness is, as a rule, carried out in the following sequence:

1) Assessment of the application and determination of compliance.
2) Approval decision and acceptance (or non-acceptance).
