DE-ICING/ANTI-ICING PROTECTION OF AN AIRCRAFT ON THE GROUND

What is de-icing/anti-icing protection of an aircraft on the ground? chevron

De-icing/anti-icing protection is a procedure that combines both processes—removal of contamination/ice and prevention of icing.

The service of aircraft de-icing/anti-icing is included in ground handling in accordance with Chapter 2 of the Order of the Minister for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30 October 2018 No. 749 “On approval of the list of goods, works, and services of aerodrome and ground handling that are part of airport operations” and is subject to flight safety control by the authorized organization in civil aviation (JSC “Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan”).
