On February 1, in honor of Civil Aviation Workers’ Day in the Republic of Kazakhstan, a special television project dedicated to domestic civil aviation will be released. The main goal of the project is to convey to a wide audience the responsibility of the pilot profession, the level of professional training, and the importance of personnel in the civil aviation sector. The material is prepared in the format of a documentary, based on real work processes and official data.

Chairman Committee of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Saltanat Tompieva, by decision of the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization, Juan Carlos Salazar, was appointed Ambassador within the framework of The ICAO Global Ambassadors Program, the Kapital Business Information Center reports.kz with reference to the KGA press service.

February 1st marks Civil Aviation Workers' Day in Kazakhstan. Officially established by a government decree in November 2023, the holiday recognizes the enormous contribution of pilots, engineers, dispatchers, and ground crews to economic development and strengthening the country's international standing. We spoke with Saltanat Tompieva, Chairperson of the Civil Aviation Committee (CAC) of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, about the systemic achievements the industry has achieved to reach this latest milestone and how the Head of State's instructions to transform Kazakhstan's airfields into a major international aviation hub are being implemented.
