Issuing an export certificate of airworthiness
In accordance with paragraph 34 of the Rules for Certification and Issuance of Airworthiness Certificates for Civil Aircraft of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by Order No. 198 of the Acting Minister of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 24 February 2015 (hereinafter referred to as the Rules), in order to obtain an Export Certificate of Airworthiness for an aircraft, the applicant shall submit an official application via the e-government web-portal.
The public service is provided free of charge.
To obtain an export certificate of airworthiness, an application shall be submitted in accordance with the form specified in Appendix 11to the Rules, signed with an electronic digital signature.
In accordance with paragraph 34-3 of the Rules for Certification and Issuance of Airworthiness Certificates for Civil Aircraft of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by Order of the Acting Minister of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 24 February 2015 No. 198, the period for consideration of an application and issuance of an export airworthiness certificate for an aircraft is 5 (five) working days.
In accordance with paragraph 3 of the Rules for Certification and Issuance of Airworthiness Certificates for Civil Aircraft, the certificate is issued for thirty calendar days.
Upon expiry, the certificate shall be deemed invalid.
Before submitting an official application for an aircraft export airworthiness certificate, the applicant must familiarise themselves with the following regulatory acts governing civil aviation:
The procedure for applying for and issuing an export certificate of airworthiness for an aircraft is generally carried out in the following sequence:
1) Application assessment and decision-making.
- Application assessment involves a comprehensive review of the information submitted by the applicant to ensure that all aspects required by the rules are included and properly considered.
- 2) Decision-making and issuance (refusal to issue) of a certificate.
Based on the results of reviewing the application for compliance with the Law, the aviation inspector of the authorized organization shall decide whether to issue an export certificate or refuse it.
