Air Astana will operate repatriation flights for Kazakh citizens from the UAE on March 10

Since the start of the evacuation from Middle Eastern countries, a total of 8,585 Kazakh citizens have returned home, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan’s foreign policy agency, in cooperation with relevant authorities, continues efforts to evacuate citizens from the conflict zone in the Middle East.

More than 4,600 Kazakh citizens have been evacuated from Middle Eastern countries – Ministry of Transport.

The evacuation of Kazakh citizens from Middle Eastern countries is ongoing, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan reports. “As of March 7, since the escalation in the region began, 27 flights have been operated to Kazakhstan, evacuating 4,659 passengers,” the statement said.

The headquarters includes representatives of the Civil Aviation Committee, Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC, Kazaeronavigatsia RSE, as well as Air Astana, FlyArystan, SCAT, and VietJet Kazakhstan (Qazaq Air).
