Kazakhstan’s foreign policy agency, in cooperation with relevant authorities, continues efforts to evacuate citizens from the conflict zone in the Middle East.

The evacuation of Kazakh citizens from Middle Eastern countries is ongoing, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan reports. “As of March 7, since the escalation in the region began, 27 flights have been operated to Kazakhstan, evacuating 4,659 passengers,” the statement said.

The headquarters includes representatives of the Civil Aviation Committee, Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC, Kazaeronavigatsia RSE, as well as Air Astana, FlyArystan, SCAT, and VietJet Kazakhstan (Qazaq Air).
