Zhanibek Sharipbayev worked in the public sector from 2015 to 2023. From 2023 to 2025, he served as Senior Advisor at JSC “Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan.” Since April 2025, he has been serving as Chief Aviation Security Officer – Member of the Management Board of JSC “Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan.”

Zhanibek Sharipbayev was one of the officials responsible for coordinating the Republic of Kazakhstan’s preparation for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Universal Security Audit Programme – Continuous Monitoring Approach (USAP-CMA) in the areas of aviation security and facilitation. As a result of the audit, Kazakhstan achieved a 95.7% level of compliance with ICAO international standards, improving from 83% recorded during the 2017 audit.

Zhanibek Sharipbayev holds a Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. He was selected for the Astana Regional Personnel Reserve by the National Commission for the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
