Ombudsman – a person appointed by the Board of Directors of JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan", whose role is to provide consultations to employees of the Company and participants in labor disputes and conflicts, and to assist them in developing mutually acceptable, constructive, and feasible solutions, taking into account compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (including confidentiality, if necessary). The Ombudsman also assists in resolving problematic social and labor issues and ensures that employees of the Company adhere to the principles of business ethics.
The main functions of the Ombudsman are:
• Collecting information on violations of the provisions of the Code of Business Ethics;
• Consulting employees and participants in labor disputes who reach out;
• Reviewing appeals from Company employees regarding the actions (or inaction) of other employees and decisions (acts) made by Company officials;
• Assisting Company employees in resolving conflicts (disputes) at an early stage before they are referred to judicial authorities, and facilitating out-of-court settlements;
• Providing recommendations to Company officials on resolving conflicts (disputes) based on received appeals;
• Developing recommendations for resolving and preventing systemic conflicts (disputes);
• Holding necessary meetings, consultations, discussions with Company employees, representatives of government bodies and organizations, and hearing employees regarding submitted appeals.
