Danil Kurnossov began his professional career in civil aviation in 2011 after graduating from the Aeronautical Information Services and Flight Planning program at the Riga Aeronautical Institute.

He worked at RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia” in aeronautical information services, holding various positions from 2011 to 2020. He joined the Aviation administration of Kazakhstan’s team as a Senior aviation inspector for AIS/MAP of the Air Navigation Department in May 2020. He has held the position of Senior aviation inspector in the Safety Intelligence Division of the Management Systems and Rulemaking Department since January 2024.

He has participated in the development of regulatory legal acts related to the use of airspace and civil aviation activities, took part in the ICAO Coordinated Validation Mission (ICVM), and coordinated issues related to the development of civil-military coordination. Has been awarded a Certificate of Honour by the Civil Aviation Committee, “For impeccable service in the field of civil aviation”
