Russian aircraft "Baikal" will be produced in Kazakhstan in 2022

In six months, Kazakhstan will start producing Russian Baikal aircraft for local aviation. So far, the aircraft on the basis of the "Kazakhstan Aviation Industry" are only planning to assemble. However, by 2024, the Republic will begin designing and own production of these liners. This was announced by the head of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, Peter Griffiths. He noted that in general, in the next three years, the country intends to actively replenish its national fleet.
