Kazakhstan is switching to the British model of regulation of civil aviation

Currently, a special project team has been created from foreign and domestic experts in such areas of aviation administration as flight operation, airworthiness, airfields and ground handling, air navigation, aviation security, aviation legislation, work with aviation personnel, reports Elorda Info.

“This cooperation will allow the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC to increase the competence and qualifications of its employees, as well as to adopt the best experience of foreign experts. Interaction with the UK aviation authorities will accelerate the transition of Kazakhstan to the international best practice of state regulation of the aviation industry, and will also help to maximize its level of compliance with the high requirements of ICAO flight safety,” said Peter Griffiths, Director General of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan.

In order to explain the upcoming changes that will affect all areas of civil aviation in Kazakhstan, introductory presentations and seminars were organized, as well as meetings with representatives of Air Astana, Skat, Kazaviaspas, the Academy of Civil Aviation, airports, RSE "Kazaeronavigatsia".
