The capital's airport is recognized as the best in Central Asia and the CIS

Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport was recognized as the best regional airport in Central Asia/CIS at the World Airport Awards. The award was presented at the EXPO passenger terminal in Paris on June 16, 2022, according to the Civil Aviation Committee.
