Director General of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Katalin Radu held an emergency meeting of the operations center on the occasion of an accident with a Mi-8 helicopter belonging to Kazaviaspas of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the Civil Aviation Committee, the aviation administration intends to check all airlines operating such helicopters.

"The operation center activated the emergency plan of the AAC, discussed issues of ensuring flight safety and prepared documents for the investigation," the report says.
