Safety surveillance and oversight

In accordance with Article 16-2 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 15, 2010 No. 339-IV 'On the Use of the Airspace of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Aviation Activities', the authorized organization in the field of civil aviation annually adopts a Continuous Oversight Program, which is understood as a set of activities carried out by the authorized organization in the field of civil aviation to ensure that certified operators and civil aviation organizations maintain compliance with certification requirements and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the use of the airspace of the Republic of Kazakhstan and aviation activities.

In accordance with Article 16-4 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 15, 2010 No. 339-IV 'On the Use of the Airspace of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Aviation Activities', the authorized organization in the field of civil aviation exercises oversight of flight safety and aviation security ensured by individuals and/or legal entities whose activities are not subject to certification by the authorized organization in the field of civil aviation but fall under the activities specified in Article 10-2 of this Law. The oversight is carried out through selective and unscheduled inspections of individuals and/or legal entities, monitoring and analysis of their activities for compliance with flight safety requirements, and testing of the aviation security system.
