Wizz Air Abu Dhabi launches new flights to Kazakhstan

On December 17, 2021, the opening ceremony of a new international flight from Almaty to Abu Dhabi by Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will launch.


Flights will be operated on an A-320NEO aircraft with a frequency of 2 flights per week on Mondays and Fridays, with strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and by the published schedule on the airline's website.
The Wizz Air Abu Dhabi flight on the Abu Dhabi - Nur–Sultan route is scheduled for January 2022.


The opening of the new air route will improve air traffic between the countries, promote further development of trade and economic relations and increase the tourist flows to the UAE. At the same time, the launch of the new air route will allow residents and visitors of Kazakhstan to enjoy all the benefits and services offered by Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.


The opening ceremony will be attended by Talgat Lastayev, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee, Madiyar Menilbekov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates, Almaty City Akimat, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and Almaty Airport management.
