This is where an innovative breakthrough is expected a transformation in which air taxis and unmanned systems will become an integral part of transportation and logistics chains, delivering unprecedented speed and efficiency in both cargo delivery and passenger transport.

This large-scale project to build an urban air mobility (UAM) ecosystem is being implemented by Alatau Advance Air Group through private investment with government support, with commercial operations scheduled to launch by the end of 2028. As part of the project, a network of vertiports is planned to be constructed in the cities of Alatau, Almaty, and the Almaty region, interconnected by safe and secure flight corridors.

On the sidelines of the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Korea Airports Corporation, and Alatau Advance Air Group Ltd. regarding cooperation in the implementation and operation of the urban air mobility (UAM) project.

The cooperation under this memorandum will enable the parties to promote development and exchange expertise in the field of advanced air mobility, the deployment of modern technologies and digital solutions, and the creation of an efficient UAM ecosystem.
