The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is continuously working to expand the geography of international flights and increase the number of services on existing routes.
In this regard, since 16 June this year, AZAL has launched flights on the new Shymkent–Baku route, operating three times per week. As a result, the total number of weekly flights between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan has increased from 30 to 33.
In addition, the airline plans to operate regular flights on the Aktobe–Baku route three times per week and on the Atyrau–Baku route four times per week.
The launch of these new routes will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, business, and tourism cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
