For the first time in Kazakhstan, a tournament among FPV drone operators from security and law enforcement agencies — the Military Drone Race — was held. The competition brought together teams from various units that employ unmanned technologies in tactical and special operations.
The winner of the tournament was the team of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan (SSS RK), which demonstrated outstanding coordination and piloting skills. The second place went to Special Unit “A” of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NSC RK). Third place was awarded to the team from the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communications.
The organization of such events reflects the growing interest of Kazakhstan’s security agencies in the use of FPV drones for operational and combat purposes. The tournament served not only as a platform for experience sharing, but also as a testament to the rapid advancement of unmanned systems in the field of national security.
The Military Drone Race tournament was co-organized by the Ashyq Aspan Foundation, a science and education foundation that provided technical support for the event.
