On the sidelines of the 42nd Session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly, a working meeting was held between Saltanat Tompiyeva, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee (CAA) - Kazakhstan and representatives of the Polish delegation and LOT Polish Airlines.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of air connectivity between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Poland, including expanding the route network, improving transport accessibility for passengers and businesses, and potential initiatives in the field of transit and connecting flights.
Saltanat Tompiyeva noted that the legal framework between Kazakhstan and Poland serves as a foundation for cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
The Polish side confirmed its intention to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan, increase the number of flights, and open new destinations within Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan proposed to hold negotiations to explore further joint initiatives aimed at improving service quality, developing transit potential, and strengthening business ties between the two countries.
