On September 4, 2023, General Director of Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Catalin Radu held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hellenic Republic Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the prospects for further joint work to strengthen the Kazakh-Hellenic relationship and cooperation in the field of civil aviation industry. A meeting was also held with Riccardo Lambiris, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Athens International Airport, during which the parties agreed to work together to enhance the cooperation and air connectivity between Kazakhstan and Greece.
