A seminar titled "EASA Part-145 and Part-66/147 Requirements. Personnel Training and IT Solutions for Maintenance Organizations" was held in Almaty, organized by the approved training center Aviator.KZ LLP (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and the approved training center TRITECH (Riga, Latvia). Over 40 participants attended, representing aviation administrations, airlines, maintenance organizations, training centers, and other entities. The seminar venue was provided by «KAZAERONAVIGATSIA» RSE. The Director of the Licensing Department of the Aviation Administration of
Kazakhstan (AAK), Adilzhan Sultanov, addressed the participants with awelcoming speech. The seminar was conducted in a presentation and discussion format: the speakers discussed European requirements for aviation personnel training (EASA Part-66/147), including significant changes that took place in mid-2024, as well as European requirements for maintenance organizations (EASA Part-145), maintenance processes (EASA Part-CAMO/M), and organizations involved in continuing airworthiness management (CAMO). Additionally, topics related to the implementation of SMS (Safety Management Systems) in maintenance organizations were discussed, along with issues concerning the shortage of engineering and technical personnel and possible solutions to these challenges. During the seminar, representatives of the aviation administration engaged in discussions with industry representatives, providing clarifications on regulatory requirements and their application procedures. The seminar provided a new platform for effective and productive collaboration.
