13/12/2022

On the instructions of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairbek Uskenbayev the work on increasing the air fleet and capacity of the Kazakhstani airlines continues.

Thus, the SCAT airline's fleet has been expanded with the sixth Boeing B737 MAH 9 with a capacity of 213 seats. This aircraft will increase the airline's fleet to 32 units, including 25 Boeing models.

This year, the airline has already received and put into operation 5 Boeing-737 aircraft with a capacity from 174 (including 12 business class seats) to 189 seats respectively.

At the same time, this is the ninth aircraft received since August of this year, and it is expected that by the end of February 2023, domestic scheduled carriers will receive 5 more planes, thereby the capacity of the Kazakh airlines will increase by 20%, which will also have a positive impact on the timely delivery of flights.

The work to expand the fleet of Kazakhstan's airlines continues and is under the constant supervision of the Civil Aviation Committee.
