Chief Aviation Inspector of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, Rustem Kabanbayev, has successfully completed the ICAO Auditor Certification under the USAP-CMA program in Bucharest, Romania. This accomplishment marks a significant breakthrough in the field of aviation safety for Kazakhstan.
As part of the ICAO auditor training course on aviation safety, Mr. Kabanbayev demonstrated a high level of professionalism and confirmed his readiness to represent Kazakhstan in the International global aviation safety monitoring system.
R. Kabanbayev became the only specialist from Central Asia who passed a strict selection among candidates from the EUR/NAT region and earn official auditor status from ICAO.
This achievement is a key step in strengthening Kazakhstan’s position on the international stage. It was made possible by the reform of the national civil aviation model, the establishment and consistent development of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan over the past six years, and a strong focus on the professional training and development of aviation inspectors.
Having a certified ICAO auditor will enable Kazakhstan to actively participate in the implementation of ICAO’s global monitoring program, enhance its national aviation safety system, and contribute to the development of international aviation standards.
This success aligns with the strategic vision of Kazakhstan’s leadership to increase the country’s role in international organizations and reflects the growing trust and recognition of Kazakhstan by the global aviation community.
