In accordance with the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on the prevention of the emergence and spread of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 21, 2021 regular flights between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are resumed.

So, starting from 7 November 2021 "Air Astana" airline company plans to start operating flights on route Almaty - Baku with the frequency of 2 flights a week on Thursdays and Sundays on Embraer E190-E2 type aircraft.

At the same time Azerbaijan Airlines Azerbaijan Hava Yollari plans to start operating the flights on Almaty - Baku route with the frequency of 1 flight per week on Saturdays on A-319 type aircraft since 6 November 2021.

Further increase of flights to Azerbaijan will depend on the epidemiological situation, decisions of the Interagency Commission and the decisions of the relevant state authorities of Azerbaijan.

The flights will be operated with strict observance of sanitary and epidemiological requirements and in accordance with the published schedule on the airlines' website.
