The Pilot Project "Best Airport Service" is Being Implemented at Aktau Airport

On behalf of the Vice Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Talgat Lastayev, and with the support of the Civil Aviation Committee, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan is implementing the pilot project "Best Airport Service" at Aktau International Airport. The project is aimed at enhancing the quality of passenger services.

The first stage of the passenger survey on the quality of airport services was conducted in May of this year. Based on the data obtained, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan organized a seminar in August for representatives of ground services, customs, border and law enforcement agencies. The purpose of the seminar is to improve the service and resolve conflict situations that arise at the airport.

Also, experts of Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan and Air Astana conduct training sessions on aviation security culture on a periodic basis. Additional seminars and the next stages of the passenger survey are planned in the coming months.

The interim results of the project were discussed at a meeting with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee, Darkhan Katyshev, General Director of International Aktau Airport, Meruyert Zholdybayeva, Deputy general director for aviation security of Aviation administration of Kazakhstan, Darkhan Yespotanov, senior director of the department of aviation security of Aviation administration of Kazakhstan Daniyar Kanlybayev. Reports were presented by representatives from the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan and other government agencies. The discussions focused on improving service quality, raising airport recognition, strengthening security, and optimizing internal processes.

To share experiences and further implement the developed approaches, the heads of aviation security services at the airports of the capital and Almaty were invited to the meeting as observers.

The meeting resulted in specific organizational and practical measures aimed at improving passenger comfort. The results of the "Best Airport Service" project will be published on the information resources of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan. 

The aviation authorities of Kazakhstan urge passengers to actively participate in surveys to improve the quality of service at the airport. Access to the questionnaire in Kazakh, Russian and English is possible through QR codes placed in the airport building.
