Olzhas Bektenov Orders Increase in Flights and Rail Capacity to Popular Tourist Destinations

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov emphasized the importance of ensuring transport accessibility to tourist destinations for the population during a government meeting.
“Complaints are being received from the public regarding limited transport accessibility to popular and remote tourist destinations. There are concerns about the shortage and affordability of air and rail tickets,” Olzhas Bektenov noted.
He instructed the Ministry of Transport, together with airlines and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ), to take measures to increase the number of flights and available seats on popular resort routes at affordable prices.
