A meeting on readiness of aerodrome for temporary operations was held at the Kostanay airport. The meeting was attended by representatives of "Aviation administration of Kazakhstan" JSC, CEO of " Kostanay International Airport" JSC, Kostanay branch of "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE and "Kazakhdorstroy" LTD.

The meeting participants conducted an inspection of the Kostanay airdrome and found that works are still underway on the runway shoulders. According to Director of the Kostanay branch of "Kazakhdorstroy" LTD Mikhail Babkhoev, work will be completed by 26 September.

After completion of the work, the specialists of "Aviation administration of Kazakhstan" JSC will conduct a re-inspection of the airfield in order to make a decision on the temporary admission of the runway to the aircraft acceptance and release.
