Two new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, recently added to the fleet of SCAT Airlines, have begun operating scheduled flights on the Shymkent – Astana – Shymkent route.
The addition of two new aircraft to the fleet of a domestic airline is a significant event for Kazakhstan’s aviation industry and another indication of the dynamic growth of the country’s aviation market. By the end of this year, the fleet of Kazakh airlines is expected to increase to 118 aircraft.
The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues its systematic efforts to expand the fleets of Kazakh airlines in order to improve the accessibility of air travel, expand the route network, strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic aviation market, and ensure a high level of safety and quality of passenger service.
