A meeting of the Working (Expert) Group on Aviation Security under the Council of Heads of Authorized Transport Authorities of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union was held in Moscow at the premises of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The event was attended by representatives of Rostransnadzor, the Interstate Aviation Committee, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus, the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan.
The meeting summarized the results of the Working (Expert) Group’s activities for 2024 and outlined plans for 2025. Following reports by group members on current events and challenges in the member states and globally in the field of aviation security, participants exchanged experiences in identifying and monitoring threats and risk factors.
As part of the Russian Federation’s Transport Week, experts from the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan also participated in the International Conference titled “Interaction of Control (Supervisory) Authorities in Transport to Ensure the Safety of Transportation Along International Transport Corridors.” The conference focused on fostering cooperation among countries in the field of supervisory activities along international transport corridors to enhance transport security.
