On the sidelines of AVSEC Security Week 2026 in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chief Executive Officer of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Michael Daniel met with Director General of the Civil Aviation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, Daniyar Bostonov.
The parties discussed pressing issues in aviation security, the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, and the enhancement of approaches to civil aviation security in compliance with international standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Both sides highlighted the importance of exchanging experience in aviation security, fostering collaboration between the aviation administrations of the two states, and increasing the effectiveness of measures to prevent and counter modern threats to civil aviation.
The meeting held within the framework of AVSEC Security Week 2026 served as a platform to strengthen professional dialogue between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, reaffirming the significance of regional cooperation in ensuring the security of international air transport.
