A meeting on aviation safety issues was held in the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan

On February 2, 2024, the regular annual meeting on aviation security issues was held at the site of Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, which was attended by representatives of the CAC of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, law enforcement and special agencies, law enforcement agencies, heads of aviation security services of airports, airlines, and an air navigation service provider.

The meeting summed up the results of aviation security for 2023, presented and heard reports from individual airports and airlines, and announced plans for aviation security in the coming years.

These are, first, the preparation of events for the upcoming ICAO audit, the implementation of standards of the European Civil Aviation Conference, the opening of flights to the United States, the creation of a United Aviation Security Operator, the development of the Coordination Group of Central Asian and Caucasian Countries and the introduction of the best practices of European countries and the United States on aviation security in Kazakhstan.

To improve the professional skills of employees of aviation security services of civil aviation entities and aviation inspectors of the Department of Aviation Security of the AAK, issues of professional training were considered.

At the same time, the participants were instructed to ensure the effectiveness of the customer orientation system in the field of aviation security, to implement concrete steps to introduce a culture of interaction with passengers.

When working with passengers, take into account the peculiarities of ethnic, cultural and religious identity, politeness, correctness and professional approach.

Other issues aimed at the sustainable development of aviation security in civil aviation were also voiced at the meeting.

According to the results of the summing up of the work, the awarding of distinguished employees of the aviation security services of the industry took place.

The solemn event was held within the framework of a professional holiday - the Day of Civil Aviation Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, celebrated for the first time in the country on February 1 this year.
