The 10th meeting of the Interagency Commission on the Facilitation of Formalities in International Air Transport was held at the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, chaired by the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of government authorities, airports, and airlines of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The agenda included issues related to improving passenger service quality, including the implementation and integration of electronic identity documents with electronic boarding passes. Domestic airlines presented proposals for further joint development.
Special attention was given to enhancing aircraft inspection procedures by government authorities, developing the regulatory framework, utilizing the transit potential of airports, and addressing temporary accommodation for persons denied entry.
In addition, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan informed participants about key upcoming events in the civil aviation sector for 2026, aimed at industry development and strengthening international cooperation.
Following the meeting, decisions were adopted and deadlines for their implementation were set. The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan will continue to coordinate interdepartmental cooperation to enhance the efficiency, safety, and quality of international air transport.
