During the session, the outcomes of SSCC activities for 2025 were reviewed, and key issues related to flight safety, the further development of the Safer Skies initiative, and the strengthening of international cooperation in the context of geopolitical instability were discussed.
Kazakhstani experts took an active part in the discussions and exchange of experience, presenting practical approaches to risk management and interagency cooperation. The participants positively assessed Kazakhstan’s experience in organizing SSCC events, including the meeting in Almaty and a practice-oriented workshop in Astana with the participation of airlines.
Special attention was given to issues related to the exchange of timely operational information, civil-military coordination, as well as threats to civil aviation associated with GNSS interference and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.
