02/06/2026
The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues its ongoing efforts to expand the geography of international air routes and increase flight frequencies on existing destinations.
As part of these efforts, Air Astana launched a new route between Astana and Larnaca on June 2, 2026. In addition, the airline will commence flights on the Almaty–Larnaca route starting June 4, 2026.
Flights on both routes will operate twice weekly using Airbus A321LR aircraft.
The launch of these services is expected to further strengthen business, trade, economic, and tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Cyprus.
