The international football tournament European Controllers Cup (ECC 2026), held in Albena, Bulgaria, has concluded with the team of air traffic controllers from the Republican State Enterprise «KAZAERONAVIGATSIA»  under the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan winning the championship title among 36 participating teams. This victory became the Kazakh team’s second consecutive triumph at the prestigious tournament for European air traffic controllers.

Throughout the tournament, the team demonstrated a high level of professional preparation, unity, and team spirit. The matches were played in a tense and highly competitive atmosphere, with opponents showing strong skill and determination. Thanks to their dedication and drive to win, the KazAeronavigation team successfully retained its champion title.

It should be recalled that in 2025, the «KAZAERONAVIGATSIA» national team also won ECC 2025, which was held in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Thus, for the second consecutive year, the team has confirmed its status as one of the strongest football teams among Europe’s air navigation services.

Traditionally, the tournament serves not only as an important sporting event but also as an effective platform for strengthening international professional cooperation. Representatives of air traffic control services and the aviation industry from various European countries had the opportunity to exchange experience, discuss professional matters, and expand business contacts in an informal setting.
