Based on the results of the cooperative work between the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the aviation authorities of the Hellenic Republic, from June 1, 2022, Air Astana JSC intends to initiate flights on the routes Nur-Sultan – Heraklion – Nur-Sultan (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and Almaty – Heraklion – Almaty (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) with a frequency of 3 flights per week in each direction.

The flights will be operated on  A-321NEO aircraft, strictly compliant with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, and as per the published schedule on the airline's website.

Initiating new air routes will contribute to the further strengthening of relations between two countries, as well as the successful development of outbound and inbound tourism.
