During the night of March 4–5, five flights operated by Air Astana and Flydubai arrived in Kazakhstan, transporting 851 passengers in total.
On March 5, a number of additional flights operated by Kazakh and foreign airlines are scheduled to bring passengers to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Air Astana plans to operate two flights on the following routes:
Jeddah – Aktau – Almaty
Jeddah – Atyrau – Almaty
SCAT Airlines plans to operate two flights on the route:
Muscat – Almaty
Air Arabia is operating a flight on the route:
Sharjah – Almaty
A second flight on the same route is scheduled to be operated by the airline later today.
Flydubai also plans to operate flights from Dubai to Almaty and Astana (the number of flights is being determined).
Since March 3, a total of 12 flights have been operated from the Middle East to the Republic of Kazakhstan, returning 2,111 passengers to the country.
Taking into account the flights scheduled for today, around 4,000 citizens are expected to be transported to Kazakhstan from the Middle East.
Efforts to repatriate Kazakh citizens continue in coordination with authorized government bodies and airlines.
