Information on the Evacuation of Kazakh Citizens from Middle Eastern Countries

The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in cooperation with relevant government agencies and organizations, as well as domestic and foreign carriers, is carrying out efforts to evacuate citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from countries in the Middle East.

On March 3 of this year, FlyDubai operated two flights on the Dubai – Astana and Dubai – Almaty routes. A total of 306 passengers (151 and 155 passengers respectively) were transported on these two flights.

As of now, Air Astana is operating scheduled evacuation flights from Saudi Arabia on March 3.

Currently, two flights are being carried out from the city of Medina on Airbus A320 aircraft with a total capacity of 290 seats, as well as two flights from the city of Jeddah on Airbus A321 aircraft with a total capacity of 339 seats.

SCAT Airlines has scheduled a flight on the Almaty – Muscat (Oman) – Almaty route to evacuate citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan using a Boeing 767 aircraft (290 seats). The flight is scheduled to depart from Almaty at 19:00 local time.

Carriers plan to continue operating evacuation flights for Kazakh citizens, taking into account the current situation in the Middle East.
