During ICAO Security Week 2026 in Astana, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan (AAK) had the honour of welcoming ICAO Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar and ICAO European and North Atlantic Regional Director Nicolas Rallo for a particularly significant visit.

This was a valuable opportunity for us to discuss further cooperation, new areas of engagement, and prospects for future collaboration. We also discussed the development of Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Master Plan through 2050 and preparations for upcoming audits. We greatly appreciate ICAO’s continued support and the opportunity for open and constructive professional dialogue.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire AAK team for their tremendous efforts, dedication, and professionalism in preparing for and delivering ICAO Security Week.

Of course, these photos capture only part of our team. Many colleagues were continuing their important work at their respective workplaces at the time. Every one of them played a vital role in making this event a success.

I am proud of our team and sincerely thank each and every colleague for their contribution to our shared success!
