During the meeting, issues related to the development of the aviation industry were discussed.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the significant contribution of Peter Foster, under whose leadership Air Astana has become one of the leading carriers in Eurasia.
Particular attention during the meeting was given to the launch of direct air service between Kazakhstan and the United States, as well as to the acquisition of long-haul aircraft required to operate such flights.
In conclusion, the President emphasized the need to further enhance the competitiveness of the country’s aviation industry.
