On October 9, Almaty International Airport welcomed the first flydubai cargo flight on the Dubai–Almaty–Dubai route. The launch of the new cargo service was marked by a welcoming ceremony, including the traditional aviation water salute for the arriving aircraft.
Cargo flights on this route will operate once a week using Boeing 737 aircraft.
The new service will establish a direct air cargo connection between Almaty and Dubai, two important transport and logistics hubs in Central Asia and the Middle East. Regular flights on this route are expected to create additional opportunities for the development of export and import cargo transportation, the expansion of logistics cooperation, and the strengthening of trade and economic ties.
Almaty International Airport continues to expand its cargo air services to major global logistics hubs, increasing its freight transportation capacity and strengthening Almaty’s position as an aviation and logistics hub in Central Asia.
