On March 4, flights carrying citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan repatriated from Middle Eastern countries arrived at airports in Kazakhstan.
The airline Air Astana operated flights from the cities of Medina and Jeddah:
Flight KC2202 arrived in Aktau at 21:28 with 142 passengers on board;
Flight KC2208 on the Medina–Atyrau route arrived at 01:19 with 145 passengers;
Flight KC2206 on the Jeddah–Atyrau route arrived at 02:50 with 174 passengers;
Flight KC2204 on the Jeddah–Atyrau route arrived at 03:34 with 179 passengers.
In addition, SCAT Airlines is operating a flight on the Almaty–Muscat–Almaty route using a Boeing 767 aircraft (approximately 290 seats).
As of today, 946 passengers have been returned to Kazakhstan.
Efforts to repatriate Kazakh citizens are ongoing.
