For the first time in Kazakhstan a new professional holiday - Civil Aviation Workers' Day is celebrated

On February 1, 2024 for the first time in the history of Kazakhstan the professional holiday of civil aviation workers is celebrated. Today about 20 thousand employees work in the civil aviation industry of our country.

As part of the celebration in the JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" held a solemn event timed to the Day of Civil Aviation Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Day of honoring veterans and current employees of Aviation Security Services.

In his speech, Director General of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Сatalin Radu congratulated employees on their professional holiday and expressed gratitude for high professionalism and contribution to the development of the industry.

A number of employees of JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" were awarded with departmental awards and letters of thanks from the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Thus, for the achievement of high results in labor, for a long contribution to the development of the aviation industry the medal "Yenbek ardageri" was awarded to Senior Aviation Inspector of the Department of Flight Operations Zhamken Tunlikbayev, the badge "Kurmetti aviator" was awarded to Aviation Inspector of the Department of Airworthiness Viktor Dolganov, the honorary diploma of the Minister was awarded to Senior Director - Chief Aviation Inspector of the Department of Safety Management, Quality, Strategy and Compliance Zhanat Abdugalimov, Head of the Public Relations Division Meruyert Kumarova, Head of the Legal Division Nurken Turganbay, Senior Manager for Training Organization of the Human Resources Department Assem Doshikova, also a number of employees of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan were awarded with letters of thanks from the Minister.

Approved on November 17, 2023, Civil Aviation Workers' Day underscores the country's commitment to maintaining high standards in the aviation industry and encouraging the professional development of its personnel. This event puts the importance of civil aviation and its key role in ensuring safety and quality in this field in the spotlight.

At the same time, representatives of the industry were also awarded with Appreciation letters from the General Director of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan Catalin Radu for their participation in the development of the Kazakhstan Aviation Safety Plan for 2024-2027:
