The first international flight from Turkestan airport was launched

On March 21, 2021, on Nauryz holiday, the first domestic low-cost carrier Fly Arystan created on behalf of Elbasy and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, launched the first international regular flight from the spiritual capital of Kazakhstan, Turkestan to Istanbul.


Regular flights between the cities of Turkestan and Istanbul will be operated on an A-320 aircraft with a frequency of 2 flights per week (Friday, Sunday) with a phased increase to 7 flights (daily) per week.


Ticket prices start from 39,999 tenge.


On the first flight Turkestan – Istanbul from March 21 this year. 176 tickets were sold (98% loading).


Since the launch of the first regular flight (December 1, 2020) from the airport of Turkestan, more than 80 flights have been carried out and about 23 thousand passengers have been transported, the average commercial load of flights was 85%.


To date, internal flights to Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Atyrau are carried out from the airport of Turkestan and from the 2nd quarter of this year. as the spiritual center of the Turkic world, Turkestan will be connected with 10 regional centers (Aktau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Taldykorgan, Ust-Kamenogorsk) with a frequency of 53 flights per week.


Turkestan airport is included in the open sky programme for flights of foreign airlines, which will make it attractive for expanding the geography of flights and help to attract the flow of foreign tourists.


We plan to launch new flights from Turkestan to Novosibirsk (RF), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), etc. We note that flights will be operated in strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and in accordance with the published schedule on the airline’s website.
