Experts discussed topical issues of aviation security

A national meeting on aviation security of civil aviation in Kazakhstan was held in the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan, which was attended by representatives of the Civil Aviation Committee MIID RK, the heads of aviation security airports and airlines, as well as experts in aviation security subjects from civil aviation organizations.

The meeting summarized the results of aviation security over the previous year. Airport security and airline executives provided updates on work done in video surveillance and alarm system modernization, perimeter fence reconstruction, and a variety of other activities aimed at ensuring aviation security and flight safety.

Projects and plans for the near term 2023-2025 were also reviewed, including:

- Implementing amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Use of Air Space, including implementing the airport aviation security services certification process.

- the establishment of the Common Aviation Safety Service Operator.

- a phased transition to European aviation security requirements (as required by Doc 30);

- implementation of the European Supply Chain Security System, which implies the recognition of legal entities as known shippers and registered agents.

- establishment of a coordination group on aviation security between Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan, and signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation on aviation security.

According to the results of activities, the JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" held an awarding ceremony for distinguished aviation security employees in the following categories and incentives: "Honorary employee of aviation security service", "Veteran of aviation security service", "For professionalism and high results in work".

The leadership of Aviation Administration Kazakhstan also presented letters of gratitude.
