As part of the Open Masters Games held Abu Dhabi (UAE) 2026, an international judo tournament took place, bringing together athletes from more than 50 countries around the world.

In the under 73 kg weight category, the bronze medal was won by Nurlybek Syzdykov, senior aviation inspector of the аviation security oversight division of the Department of aviation security of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan. He demonstrated a high level of preparation, composure, and true sporting character.
