Following the aviation security and facilitation audit conducted by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Kazakhstan from 2 to 14 September, employees who made a significant contribution to achieving a high result were awarded. Kazakhstan achieved a 95.7% level of compliance with ICAO international standards, representing a substantial increase compared to 83% in 2017. As a result, Kazakhstan entered the top 20 countries worldwide in terms of compliance with international aviation security requirements. This achievement was made possible through coordinated efforts, high professionalism, and effective interagency cooperation among all participants in the aviation sector consolidation.

On behalf of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, letters of appreciation for contributions to ensuring aviation security and the successful completion of the ICAO audit were presented by Vice Minister of Transport Talgat Lastayev.
