Kazakhstan-based company Echelon Alpha, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, has developed a digital system designed to optimize the civil aviation route network and comprehensively assess the commercial viability of flights. The system analyzes demand by destination, forecasts transit potential, and models the future route network.
“To build the analytical model of air connectivity, we processed approximately 170 reports from airlines and a dataset covering 200 million flights over the past five years. The system takes into account regional macroeconomic indicators, population size, consumer preferences, business activity, and the calendar of major events. The platform relies exclusively on open and commercial sources, as well as geomarketing data, enabling forecasting accuracy of up to 90%,” said Rakhman Asambayev, founder of Echelon Alpha.
