Dear Colleagues,
The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan (AAK) marks its 7th anniversary.
Seven years may seem like a relatively short period in the history of aviation. Yet during this time, the AAK has built an impressive record of tangible achievements, strengthened Kazakhstan’s position within the global aviation community, and established itself as a respected and trusted aviation authority. Your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to continuous improvement have made these accomplishments possible.
Over the past seven years, Kazakhstan’s civil aviation sector has undergone remarkable transformation. Air connectivity has expanded, airport infrastructure has advanced, digital solutions and innovative technologies have been introduced, the regulatory framework has continued to evolve, and aviation safety and security standards have reached new levels.
Today’s achievements - a 95.7% level of effective implementation of ICAO aviation security Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), an 82% effective implementation rate in flight safety oversight, becoming the first country in Central Asia to implement the Global Reporting Format (GRF), the development of a Civil Aviation Master Plan in partnership with ICAO, and many other milestones are the result of the tremendous dedication and hard work of our entire team. Behind every figure, every international recognition, and every new standard lies the commitment and professionalism of our people. Throughout these achievements, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan has played, and continues to play, a pivotal role.
Today, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan is far more than a young organization. It is a highly professional team that operates in accordance with the highest international standards, makes complex and responsible decisions, and contributes to shaping the future of Kazakhstan’s civil aviation sector.
These first seven years have laid a solid foundation for the future. Ahead of us are new challenges, ambitious projects, and even higher expectations. One of our key priorities will be the implementation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s directive to establish direct air services between Kazakhstan and the United States.
Successfully completing the FAA International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) and achieving Category 1 status will mark an important milestone for Kazakhstan’s civil aviation sector, creating new opportunities for Kazakh airlines and strengthening the country’s position in the global aviation community.
Together, we will continue strengthening flight safety and aviation security, investing in human capital, and enhancing the competitiveness of Kazakhstan’s aviation industry.
We sincerely thank every employee for your dedication, professionalism, and invaluable contribution. Together, we transform ambitious goals into meaningful results.
Dear colleagues, on the eve of Transport Workers’ Day, we wish our entire team continued success, new achievements, the energy to pursue bold ideas, and the confidence and inspiration to reach even greater heights. May the years ahead bring even more accomplishments that we will proudly celebrate together. We also extend our warmest wishes to you and your families for good health, happiness, prosperity, and continued success in all your endeavors.
Happy 7th Anniversary to the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan!
Together, reaching new heights.
