By Order of the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as the sole shareholder, Darkhan Katyshev has been appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the Joint-Stock Company “Center for Investigation of Transport Accidents and Incidents.”

Darkhan Maratovich Katyshev graduated from the Civil Aviation Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a degree in Aviation Engineering and Technology.

Career

From 2008 to 2009, he held various positions at the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2009 to 2019, he served as Head of the Aviation Security Department of the Civil Aviation Committee under the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2019 to 2023, he was Director of the Aviation Security Department at JSC “Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan.”

From 2023 to 2024, he served as Director of the Department for Investigation of Transport Accidents and Incidents at the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2024 to the present, he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He has extensive experience in the field of civil aviation. He serves as the National Coordinator of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) on aviation security matters.

He is a graduate of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and holds a professional doctoral degree.
