Air Service Between Almaty and Langkawi to Launch
29/09/2026
Work is underway to expand Kazakhstan’s international route network and increase the number of frequencies on existing routes.
Starting from 25 December 2026, Air Astana plans to operate direct seasonal flights between Almaty and Langkawi, Malaysia. The flights will operate three times a week on Airbus A321neo aircraft.
The launch of the new route will contribute to the expansion of Kazakhstan’s international air connectivity and further strengthen tourism ties with Malaysia.
